Julius Porter has been serving clients as a financial advisor for nearly a decade. Upon graduating from the University of Michigan with a degree in Finance and Accounting, he pursued a career in financial services in his hometown of Clarkston, Michigan.

After several years of building his practice in Northern Oakland County, in 2017 Julius decided to take the leap and begin his journey as an Independent Advisor. The primary objective of this decision was to serve the needs of his clients at a deeper level through comprehensive planning without limitations.

Julius has the tools, partnerships, industry resources, and dedicated teams to assist in providing an ideal client experience with every client. He believes the role of a trusted Financial Advisor is to develop strategies that create efficiencies, allowing long-term investors to arrive at their goals with more wealth, while taking on less risk. His foundational principles are based on relationships, providing objective advice, and consistently measuring progress as it relates to the clients’ goals—these processes allow us to focus on the rationale behind our decisions versus solely on the outputs of them.

Julius lives in Dearborn, Michigan with his fiancé Carly, and their daughter Ellie. They love to spend time with friends and family, travel, and enjoy all things sports—especially golf! Julius has been coaching high school basketball since 2014 and was a part of back-to-back state champion teams in 2017 and 2018. He enjoys coaching and mentoring student-athletes as they journey through high school into college. Julius and his family look forward to continually being active participants in their community giving back with time and charity whenever there is a need.
